I was never a mathlete.
I was the kid in high school who was always on the verge of failing geometry and algebra.
So, when I was asked to track my hours for a writing project, I cringed a little bit.
I like to charge by the project so the focus can be on the final product. This way, my client doesn’t worry about the cost of revisions and I can concentrate my non-writing time to growing The Widest Letter. No business owner wants to get bogged down with billing and invoicing. But sometimes you just have to do it. Sigh.
I created a billable hours calculator to easily determine how much to charge and never second guess myself again. In case you were wondering, the formula is (# of minutes/60 + hours) x hourly rate = total billable hours.
